Sasha Beekman is a Thai-born writer, designer and book production specialist. She grew up in Darwin and now calls Melbourne home, but likes to dream of the Top End whenever winter rolls around.
Her first picture book, When You’re Going to the Moon (illustrated by Vivienne To) was a CBCA Notable Book in 2019 for Picture Book of the Year.
She is inspired by her culture and big pops of colour, and hopes that all of the different things she works on will leave the world a little bit brighter. And if she can add holographic foil to anything that’s a real bonus.
